From far away the bike looks like it could almost be a high-end custom tracker but as you get closer, you realize just how visually (and physically) beefy the Fat Bob is. The edgy bobbed rear fender fills out the back end, giving it heft. And on the rims are a set of what seem like the widest street tires on earth.

The plump sport-bike tire up front really takes home the Bat-Bike likeness I see in the fat bob. One of several modernizing features are the low and tight scrambler pipes running up the right side. They’re not too loud but not lacking any growl either. On a bike as heavy as the Street Glide Special you might misinterpret the Milwaukee Eight 114 as just a dialed in beefy highway cruiser engine - This is not the case with the Fat Bob. Weighing almost 165 lbs less than the Street Glide the Fat Bob’s 114 feels unleashed.

Happy on the highways and happy on the twisties, it’s clear H-D had performance and versatility in mind for the Milwaukee Eight.
