A storied example of the Ducati 750 Sport, which was raced extensively in the 1970s and 80s, before being decommissioned and kept as part of a private collection for around 10 years if not more, and subsequently restored by Warren Fraser and Fraser motorcycles a few decades ago.

Power comes from a carburettor-fed 748cc four-stroke v-twin, coupled to a five-speed transmission. This 750 Sport is finished in an attractive shade of orange, with black accents, retro GT striping and white ‘Ducati’ lettering, complemented by a black seat pad and Veglia instrument dials.

Its 748cc engine is equipped with PHF 32 Dellorto carburettors, NOS rods, bearings, cylinders, pistons and cams, and Conti exhaust mufflers.

The bike rides on rebuilt Marzocchi suspension and refurbished Borrani wheels, shod with period-correct Dunlop tyres.

Stopping power comes from new twin discs with twin Brembo callipers, braided lines and a Brembo-style master cylinder.

Here is a fine Ducati specimen of this piece of Italian history, this motorcycle is a very clean example and close to what you would have received for the Bologna factory in the 1970's. Having done some km's under it's belt and still looking this good, is a rare sight. For any questions on this bike please don't hesitate to give us a call and ask more. Or even better, come see for yourself.

The Ducati 750 Sport, introduced in 1972, capitalised on the success of its predecessor, the 750 GT. Essentially a restyled 750 GT, the 750 Sport featured a new fuel tank, clip-on handlebars, and rear-set footrests. In 1974, production maintained consistency, with Brembo brakes, a 38mm Ceriani front fork, and Marzocchi rear suspension. Ducati produced 1,602 750 Sport models from 1973 to 1974, including 200 for the US. Notably, 23 additional units were assembled from spare parts in 1978 after production ceased in 1974. Despite being succeeded by the 860 series, the 750 Sport remains iconic as Ducati’s first successful multi-cylinder engine, defining a pivotal moment in their history.
