Moto Guzzi has produced many classic motorcycles in its long and storied history, but the Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans remains one of the most famous. Originally conceived as a bike for the racetrack, the production version of the 850 Le Mans was introduced at the Milan Motorcycle Show in 1975 and was built on the successful V7 platform. The 850 Le Mans was powered by an upgraded 844cc OHV air-cooled V-twin that carried 71hp as opposed to the V7 Sport’s 53hp. It also featured a five-speed gearbox.

This bike is dripping with history. After being allocated to the USA for sale it was given to Harpers Moto Guzzi in Missouri. It was here that it’s first owner from Illinois, the state next door, got his hands on this exquisite machine. After years of companionship, the two parted ways in 2016 and the bike made its way over the waters to relocate to the sun beaten roads of Australia. And now this bike could be all yours.

Records for this bike are amazing and even come with newspaper clippings of the original advertisement from the dealership for the bike. It also comes with manuals and the original tool kit under the seat. You’d be excused for being blown away by how Phenomenal the bike itself is, as well as the records it comes with, bearing in mind the bike is almost 50 years old.

This bike is in fantastic condition given its age and has really become a cult classic for bike collectors. Partnered with low milage, run and kicks on first try every time a full set of history books and all paperwork, plus the Moto Guzzi tool kit still under the set. All this together makes this motorcycle a very rare find.
