Moving out of the traffic, and into the canyons, the 959 Panigale really starts to shine. Throwing the bike into corners, it dives in like a 600 super sport. It’s light, extremely nimble, and just knows where to go as you lean it down. Pushing hard through corners doesn’t seem nearly as scary as it should be. Again, where litre bikes would have you second-guessing any added throttle, the 959 seems to eggs you on. The torque is delivered smooth enough that unless you’ve had six cappuccinos before riding you’ll have a hard time upsetting the bike by chopping the throttle. There’s plenty of grip and the bike feels planted regardless of speed, low or high. During spirited acceleration, the gearing may seem short to anyone used to riding inline bikes, which is due to a seemingly low redline of 11,500rpm of the V-twin Superquadro.
Every last detail of the 959 Panigale pays tribute to Ducati’s legendary racing heritage. The wider nose fairing and screen improve aerodynamic performance and add to the aggressive look of the new front end, also enhanced by larger-section front air intakes. The split tailpiece design is the final touch to a real work of art: the 959 Panigale fairing, now including redesigned lateral air intakes and new rear view mirrors. The new bike is also equipped with aluminium billet-machined footrests for enhanced boot grip while riding.
The Ducati 959 Panigale shares the same innovative stylistic features that characterise its ‘bigger brother’, the 1299 Panigale – but with an engine designed for a more enjoyable everyday riding experience and more thrills on the race track. The 955 cm3 twin-cylinder engine, the first Superquadro to have obtained Euro 4 type-approval, comes with a new stroke length and other innovations that have given rise to an even more impressive torque curve.
Bikes comes with Full books and service history. Ducati own alarm system has been added with a full bike disablement if activated. A smart tale tidy makes the rear of this weapon look even sharper then the stock ones. New and upgraded lights have also been added to make seeing at night less of a chore for you eyes. As well as all those additions The Ducati package of comfort seating been installed for driver and passenger which adds way more cushion to the race seats. This bike is not a Corse model.
