At the start of 2004 Ducati announced the birth of a new breed of motorcycles that would take inspiration from the first, historic twin-cylinders created in the early '70s, the Sport Classic family. A tribute to 1960s cafe racer era boasting modern thrills and mechanicals. The Ducati Sport Classic 1000 is driven by the air-cooled, two-valve 1000 DS (for Dual Spark) engine. It’s straightforward, classically Italian and pleasing enough and, though no cutting edge powerhouse this motor is perfectly suited to its role delivering enough retro-roadster go when it matters and is pleasing and cool the rest of the time. Freshly serviced with all fluids replaced, brand new battery, meticulously detailed and ready to ride.
