Original 1 owner, this bike was purchased as part of a deceased estate and was kept in the hallway of a Motorcycle enthusiast's house on paddock stands since its rego last lapsed in 1997.
It has travelled an original 8400km in the last 31 years and can ONLY be described as IMMACULATE.
Although now in top shape, this GSXR has undergone a very comprehensive restoration over the last 6 months in order to bring it back to its former glory. (It’s actually better than the day it rolled off the showroom floor)
This process involved replacing EVERY perishable component on the bike… Tyres were the first on the list and were replaced with a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso III’s. (Travelled less than 200km)
Inlet manifolds, air filter, fuel hoses, wheel bearings, brake pads, oil filter, forks seals, windscreen, spark plugs, battery & brake fluid were also all replaced.
The prior owner had fitted an Ohlins shock to the rear that was serviced by RB Racing during the restoration process, the forks were serviced at this time too.
It then underwent a full respray (Wheels included) in the original Red and White colours (7JJ PEARL COOL WHITE & PEARL TWINKLE RED) by Colourfuel with a set of stickers sourced from the UK.
A period correct Yoshimura Cyclone exhaust end can was fitted, that has a custom mid pipe connected to a set of Hindle racing headers, it looks and sounds amazing.
It is currently sporting a set of the Euro spec mirrors however it will be sold with these AND a brand new set of the AU delivered variant.
Pillion cowl and seat also supplied if you’s like to set it up as a 2 up.
The entire restoration cost is in excess of the asking price – all of the restoration expense receipts can be provided to the new owner.
You will not find a better example with less KM! Guaranteed!
This bike has never been crashed or dropped and will impress even the fussiest of buyers!
